ShofarNexus uses a single program model where all of the software is in a single file. There are no external libraries.

ShofarNexus can be used as a foundation for other applications, either those that run on an Operating System, or those that are standalone.

The “Hack” model makes a clear distinction between what is the generic part of ShofarNexus and what is custom for a particular purpose.

An example is where you have a device doing remote machine control or monitoring and the custom layer is built on the communications tools in ShofarNexus.

It could be an opposite desire in that your application must not communicate with the outside world, so it is based on the ShofarBook method.
